Hey guys,
I took the SAT once in October 2014 and got a 2190, then took it in January and got a 2340. At home though I got 2380-2400s fairly consistently.
Should I retake it or not bother?
Thanks

2340 is a great score. Don’t bother retaking it.
This ^. Your SAT score will not hold you back with those numbers.
I guess you should try to achieve the perfect score .anyway it is not going to affect you negatively
That score is good for any school. Don’t take it again, you will waste your money. Also you won’t be rejected in top schools for your score. Focus on your GPA and EC’s.
I don’t think you should retake it, but could I ask you what your breakdown is? The one time where I would recommend retaking it is if you have 800CR/740M/800W. The math score could potentially hold you back at MIT/Caltech (or other competitive engineering schools), but really barring that situation I don’t think it matters what your scores are. Congrats on the excellent score! It must be nice to be done taking the SAT1 so early on.
@micmatt513 is right. In other words, don’t bother (unless you fit that precise scenario).
