Should I retake a 29?

Hey guys. Im kinda torn if I should retake the ACT for the 5th time. The first couple of times I got a 22, 26, 26, then I got a 29 on the one in sep. I dont know If I should take it again or if that would be good enough for most schools? I heard that getting a 30 gets you a lot more scholarship opportunities than a 29. Im just afraid that if I do worse, that the college that I might apply to will see that if I have to send all of my scores and they will judge me because of that.

Do you think I should re take it or work on volunteering and other things colleges like to see?

I don’t see much of a difference between a 29 or a 30, but I would retake it in my opinion. Being on the cusp of the 30s annoyed me. Also, retake it depending on the scores needed for the colleges you’re applying to.

Some schools superscore the ACT, so look at that as well.

Hi, popchrlie:

Do you know Brown u. superscore ACT ?

Depends on how you did in each section and which colleges you’re going to apply to

I got a 30, but in the big Texas schools you will need at least 32 to get a full ride

-Do both, unless you do not care about financing the college. 29 is a decent score, but most likely not the one that will result in amazing Merit packages. But, again, if you do not spend additional time preparing, do not bother. On the other hand, ACT prep. all togehter if done smartly might take just few hours.
