Should I Retake a 31.25 to get a 32?

Hi, I have a question regarding how colleges view ACT scores. Is there a great difference between a 31 and 32--specifically, a 31.25? I am questioning this because I am considering retaking the ACT again to get a comp or superscore of 32. Will colleges view me as lower because I got a 31 instead of a 32, or will they see that I got a 31.25 and equate it to something similar to a 32?

Thanks.

A 31.25 is a 32 (averages are rounded up I believe). Don’t retake just for the extra .75 or 1 point. In other words, if you do retake, aim for something higher than a 32.

A 31.25 isn’t a 32. A 31.5 is a 32. I’m in the same predicament kind of. I wanted at least a 33 but I got a 32.25

Sure, retake it if you feel you can get the 32. I’m personally retaking a 33.25 because I feel that I truly have the potential to get a 34 or higher.

Better scores will usually equate to better chances, so if you think that you can do better, go for it.

I have the same problem. I got a 29.25 but really want to get a 30 or higher. Im just afraid that if I do worse that they will look at that too
