I am applying to HYPS and similar.

I got a 35 composite on ACT (35,36,34,34,10).
I got a 2230 on SAT (730,800,800)

Both first time.

Do I need to retake either at all?

Use ACT for application and you are fine. Don’t waste your time and focus on AP and subject test for now. My DD got exact the same composite scores and she is not retaking any for sure although I tempted to convince her otherwise.
If you have nothing to do after subject test, retaking ACT in June is fine assuming you got better scores in practice. It is far more important to prepare for the school applications then getting the extra point in ACT at this level.

The SAT score should actually be 2330. Sorry.

^ Does not matter. ACT35 is the same or better than SAT2330.
The same answer, no need to retake.
