Should I retake an ACT 33?

<p>I'm happy with my composite but my math score is really bad compared to my other scores, and I feel like if I improve dramatically in math I have a chance at a 35. I went into this test with no preparation. But does raising my composite by 2 or 3 points even matter? </p>

<p>But more importantly, will having such a low math score compared to my other scores hurt me? I will be majoring in humanities but am applying to very selective schools. Thank you!</p>

<p>BTW I'd rather not take it again, haha.</p>

<p>If you’re humanities you should be fine with that score which is good :)</p>

<p>You don’t need to raise your math much higher if you are not going to major in anything Science or Engineering related. 33 is a good composite.</p>
