Should I retake my ACT?

So I'm guessing this a common title of discussion but my problem is slightly more complicated. I took the ACT my senior year of high school and twice got a 22 on it, I got accepted into Ohio University no problem. After the semester started in the fall I had to withdraw from the University to take care of some family issues but I plan on returning in the fall but I have to apply again. I'm not sure if I should retake it to just improve my score or if it is even necessary to submit a new score after being accepted last year. Any comments would be appreciated

Call the school to ask. There is a chance they wouldn’t even take a new test since you took some college classes.

They are asking you to re-apply to make sure your first withdrawl wasn’t due to being unprepared academically while on campus. Since this doesn’t apply to you, you should be fine – I surely wouldn’t take the ACT again. Like ED says above, call the school to make sure all your ducks are in a row. I’m sure they will welcome you back with open arms.
