Should I retake my SAT?

I want to get into UCLA and Johns Hopkins University.

I have a 3.97 unweighted GPA, with two 5's on last May's Calculus AB and English Lang&Comp AP Tests (which were the only AP classes I took last year).

This year (my senior year), I'm taking AP Biology, AP Spanish, AP English Lit&Comp, and AP Statistics.

I have a 2300 on SAT I >> 800 Critical Reading, 720 Math, 780 Writing.

700 on Math II, 690 on Spanish, and taking Math II, Spanish, and Biology in October.

SO. Should I retake my SAT I and try to improve math? Cause Johns Hopkins uses the superscore, so I'm wondering if that would improve my chances.

I envy you…but yea I can’t see why you shouldn’t. There’s no way it can hurt you…

I see no reason to retake-after all, you have a perfectly amazing score there, not to mention many AP classes for which you probably have a ton of work!

Focus on the rest of your application; it’s tempting to test over and over again, but you really don’t need to.

You should try to retake if you think that you have time to improve. A higher score for math would really help your application and math is the easiest section to improve, but your scores are more than adequate for UCLA and Johns Hopkins.
