Should I retake my score?

<p>I'm not trying to be pompous or anything since you'll notice my score.
Here's the breakdown
CR 770
Math 760
Writing 680
total 2210
Should I retake it? I'm aiming for ivies, and I want 2250+</p>

<p>You can retake if you want to (esp. writing), but I think >750 is VERY good, if not outstanding, even for the ivies.
Unless your other stats (GPA, senior year courses, ECs, etc.) are mediocre or horrible, you have a strong shot at a highly competitive college.
According to the CC Dean (see <a href="http://www.collegeconfidential.com/dean/archives/000298.htm#000298)%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.collegeconfidential.com/dean/archives/000298.htm#000298)&lt;/a>, most colleges don't weigh the writing section as much as the CR or the Math.
So, unless you can maintain or improve the CR/Math, and break the 700 mark on the writing, I don't think you should retake it.</p>
