Should I retake once more?

So I've taken the SAT twice now:
May 2012
CR: 730
Math: 660
Writing: 670
Total: 2060

October 2012
CR: 710
Math: 770
Writing: 620
Total: 2100

Superscore: 2170

I was really happy that my math score went up by 110 points, but I was pretty disappointed with the writing section. I didn't really study that and opted to study a ton on the math (which definitely shows). I didn't really think that my writing score would drop by 50 points though. Should I retake it one more time? Or just leave it as is? Will it have an adverse effect on my college admissions if I just go with my current score? Will most schools super score? I'm just worried that the giant gap between my writing and other scores will have a negative effect, especially if schools don't super score. How much does the writing section even matter? Because in a lot of books that I've looked in they only show a range fro the reading and math score composite, not including the writing anyway.

anybody? bump

I’d say retake once more but it depends where you are applying.

Where are you applying? If it’s not the ivys or top 20 only schools, a 2100 is sufficient for non-super score schools.

Well I was considering applying to maybe Cornell or University of Chicago…but yeah now I’m not so sure.

Cornell is a maybe with your score. University of Chicago, I would definitely recommend a retake.

Okay thank you for the information!
