I need to have 2-3 solid scores on SAT subject tests before I start applying to colleges this year. During my junior year, I signed up for two SAT II's--USH and Math I--before realizing that I should probably have taken 2 entirely different tests. I took the tests and didn't cancel scores, and now I'm stuck with a 630 and 680 on the SAT score report. 680 isn't as hair splittingly bad as a 630, but both are nowhere near the scores I would have liked to have gotten. Is it poor form to have on your SAT score report 4-5 different subject tests in a myriad of subjects, half of which are abysmal? To be frank, I simply do not want to take another SAT I, ACT, and 4-5 subject tests between the time testing resumes and college applications begin. I'm taking 5 AP's next year, and so most of my studying will have to be over the summer. The tests I feel I should have taken are Literature (got a 36&34 on ACT Eng&Reading), Math II (needed to finish pre-cal), and Biology (love the subject/intended major). What do you feel I should do? Should I re-take and try to score highly on the original set of subject tests in order to make myself look like less of a failure in US/Math I? Eh!
