Should I retake or nah?

I'm sorry about the title, it was right there and I just had to.

I got my school day SAT scores scores today- 2100 on the dot (690 cr, 700 m, 710 w)

I'm not pleased with my CR score because I'm far better at english than I am at math. It's not that I necessarily want to show that, it's that I don't want colleges thinking that I'm mediocre at reading (unless I get a good AP Lang score tomorrow, then I don't care.)

Math is about where I expected, but a little lower than I hoped. Writing as well.

I'm not applying Ivy League, but I am looking at some very good schools and need a little financial help. Will a 2100 be sufficient, or should I try again? My next opportunity would be in the fall.

Thanks to all!

Is this the first time you’ve taken the SAT? Did you prep? Do you have time/ motivation to seriously prep for a second take? If yes, no, yes then definitely take it again…

Yes it was the first time and I did prep a little. I guess I’ll decide in the summer whether or not I’m motivated, because that’s when I have the time to study…

If this was your first time, then I would just take it again to see if I can get it higher.

Cool, thanks guys. I’ll probably retake first thing next school year so that I can get my SAT IIs in this June.
