Should I retake Reasoning or Subject Tests

So I pretty much have one last shot at either SAT.

my reasoning scores are

740 M
670 CR
690 W

My Subject Test Scores are

730 Math II
710 Spanish
590 Lit

Your sat 1 is pretty good — you got a 2100. If you think you can do much better then definitely retake this as it pulls more weight. However, if you think you can pull up the 730 do that too, but your subject tests are pretty good I think.

In Sum — SAT I retake > SAT II (but thats if you know you can get like a 2200).

hmmm… why not go with the SAT Reasoning test because you’ve broken 700 with two subjects, but only on one section of the reasoning? I don’t know, it’s just that sometimes just psychologically SAT scores past 700 look stronger than 700+ in three subjects, especially since most schools only look at two.

Do the SAT I. It is highly more weighted since this portion of your application doesn’t reflect in your transcript to the extent that the SAT II does. Even some selective institutions, like Yale, do not even require the SAT II.
