Should I retake SAT (have a high ACT score)

I took the SAT early Junior year and performed low

CR: 550
MATH: 710
WRITING: 560
Essay : 7

I then took the ACT in June (No essay) and got a 32 composite

I'm not aiming for any top schools, I just want a shot at some scholarships at these schools

-Loyola Marymount University
-Occidental College

Should I prep for the SAT and aim for 2100+ or is my ACT score enough to cover for it?

Thanks

If no subject tests then definetly just send the ACT.

Your ACT score is good enough, I believe colleges look at the better score?

I have to take 2 minimum subject tests and already have
So my SAT’s are going out no matter what…

I don’t think you are going to bring that SAT up to your ACT level. I would just let it be. If you do the SAT again and get near an 1820 again, they might think the 32 act is a fluke. If your SAT II scores are good and your ACT is 32, maybe they will think that the 1820 SAT was just from a bad day. (In theory they look at your best score.)

will the schools your applying to accept ACT in place of subject tests?

well

1 I took the SAT twice and got the same score twice… so that shows it wasnt a fluke i guess..

2 I don’t know where I can find out about what colleges ask forI would assume they would want the ACT w/ writing in lieu of the SAT

Also,
Apparently the ACT prepping brought up my SAT skills cause I got much higher on the practice test I took this week (700 cr.. 750 math)

And hypothetically..
If I retake it and get a 2000, and send that along with my ACT.. would it look significantly better than sending my current scores with the ACT? (1770 and 1810)?

i would take it again…i mean, why not, and it could help tremendously…

I guess Im retaking..
