I currently have a score of 2190 (740 cr, 730 m, 720 w with 12 essay).
I probably won't get that CR score ever again seeing as it was way too high for my own expectations. (I usually got max 650 on practice tests)
But my counselor suggested I retake SAT I in november even if my OVERALL score will go DOWN (probably in 2000+) just to increase either my writing or math to get my SUPER SCORE to go 2200+.
I do have very low GPA (3.4 uw) which I think might be why she suggested this to me.

Should I retake SAT I in november, or, if you were me, would you go on to subject tests and move on?

I would move on to the SAT II: Math I and II, Biology(both), History(both), Chemistry, Physics.

Depends on the schools you’re applying to

I’m applying to lots of prestigious ones…Emory being my top choice. Should I retake?

yes, you should then to retake it.

I would just take it. No real downside. apart from money+time but it increases ur chances

Retake. There’s no harm unless you are running out of time to prep for subject tests. Score Choice allows most schools to take only the best score from each SECTION. You can still keep your 740CR score and you may improve on other sections to boost your overall score!
