<p>I only got a 710 on it (72%ile). I want to apply to top schools like Stanford, Duke, etc. That was after a year of regular chem without much SAT preparation. I'm taking AP Chem this year. I'm pretty sure I can do a lot better, especially if I get a workbook or something. Should I retake it?</p>

<p>someone like you would probably need at least 770 ish on the chem sat II considering it's a lot easier than the AP.</p>
