Should I retake the ACT for USC, UCs, Accelerated Dental Programs?

Hi everyone! I’m currently a junior attending a very competitive high school in California.

I recently got my ACT score back and wanted to know if I should retake it again in April or June for:

  1. USC
  2. UCLA
  3. UCI
  4. UCSD
  5. Accelerated Dental Programs (UOP, Penn, Columbia, NYU, BU, etc.)

ACT:
Composite: 34
English: 31
Math: 36
Reading: 31
Science: 36
Writing: 23 (8/8/8/8)

Please help me out!!!

A 34 is an excellent score. Don’t waste your time and money on a retake.

I think your ACT score is good enough. I think you should focus on your other stats. Don’t stress too much about it. Your scores are pretty good for the colleges that you listed. Although I would doubt Columbia.
