Should I retake the ACT (some details within)?

<p>I took it early during my sophomore year and got a 32 (35R, 34W, 30S, 27M).</p>

<p>I know that I could do much better on math with a retake since I'd only taken Math 1 at the time. I could maybe get it to 34-36 by senior year.</p>

<p>I'm looking to apply to Ivies, MIT, CalTech, etc.</p>

<p>Should I retake it (likely over a year from now), or let my "sophomore score" stand?</p>

<p>Take it twice: once after junior year and once after senior. If you don’t want to take it twice, take it once after senior year.</p>

<p>I think he means sometime before the deadline for apps. Your “last chance,” if you will.</p>

<p>Ya definitely. I raised my score from 30 sophomore yr to 34 March of junior yr. So u can prob get 34+ when u retake it</p>
