Should I retake the ACT?

<p>I'm a little uneasy about my science and essay scores (I'm planning on applying to very selective schools), so should I retake the ACT? Are those scores high enough? This was my first time taking it, so I don't think taking it again will impact my college applications. </p>

<p>You have nothing to lose. The worst that can happen is that they go down and in that case you can send in your first score. </p>

<p>Retake it if you want.
You got a 34.5 which rounded up to a 35.</p>

<p>Taking it again and getting a 35.5-36 is like a 10% chance.</p>
