Should I retake the ACT?

Im applying to very competitive schools and the only weakness in my application is my ACT score. I have a 31 composite (33 English and Science, 29 Reading, 30 Math) My reading and math scores are MUCH lower than i have been consistently scoring on practice tests (usually around a 34 on math and a 32 on reading)My GPA is 100 and I’m a full IB diploma candidate enrolled in the hardest classes my school has to offer. My EC’s are phenomenal and my essay will be pretty good. I’m also native american. I really want to get into tufts and cornell, but I also love Fordham and I was wondering if a 31 would be too low to get merit money. Im considering retaking the ACT in november and applying to all of my schools regular decision (instead of doing some early action), but I was wondering if it would even be worth it.
Let me know what you think!

I don’t think it would hurt you to take it again and try to get a better score, I’d say go for it

Is there any reason not to take it again?
