Should I retake the ACT?

So I just took the ACT for the first time and I got my scores back yesterday.

Composite: 33
English: 34
Mathmatics: 34
Reading: 29 (ew)
Science: 33
Writing: 10

I found out that my school offers a free ACT test for each student, and I don't know if I should take the test again for free. Do they really just send your best scores in, or can the colleges see every score you've gotten. Can the colleges also see how many times you've taken the ACT? I kind of want to take advantage of the free test and try for a better score. If I do retake the test, should I also retake the writing portion? The fee for the writing section is not covered by the school.

The only ACT scores colleges will see are the scores that you choose to send. You should retake the writing as well because you can't mix and match sections, iirc.

Oh, and congratulations on the stellar score!

depends on level on schools you want to go to. 33 is pretty much good for any school. unless if you really want a 34, retake

If you think you can do better retake.... I got a 31 the first time and I knew that I could do better. Second time I got a 34. But 33 is one heck of a score.
