Should I retake the ACT?

<h2>Composite: 34</h2>

<p>English: 36
Math: 33
Reading: 32
Science: 33
Combined English/Writing: 32 (I got an 8 on the essay out of 12)</p>

<p>My two top choices are Columbia and Brown.
I know my composite is high, but what if they look at my essay score individually? It is quite low.. also, The English on which I got a 36 is the easiest.. Should I retake it to increase my math and science scores?</p>

<p>only kid i know who got into brown was someone who was at the top of our class and had a 33… not much ec’s tho</p>

<p>if you have a good GPA 3.8+ unweighted you should be fine but if you have a 3.5-3.6 you might need a 35</p>

<p>Jesus Christ only on this site would people try to retake at 34. Once you get 34-36, it doesn’t even really matter.</p>
