now: I didnt really study for the test because everyone said it was easy and im generally a lazy kid when i hear stuff like that. but ive been reading a lot of posts on CC and it seems like a huge number of people get 790's and 800's... i think i have a chance princeton if i keep doing well in school and i astound with my essays, but i need all the help i can, and being 50 points behind a lot of applicants is very hurtful. should i retake it?</p>

<p>I got a 750 on my first try too (no studying). When I retook it (after studying) I got a 710…even though I felt like I aced that stupid thing. Make sure you’re positive you will actually do better. I did get waitlisted to princeton though haha so perhaps I should have tried a final time?</p>
