monstor344 hey, does that apply to all unis?? im a native german speaker and was thinking of adding german with listening to world hs and latin. do you think that would be ok for the ivies??

hey, don’t cancel ur dec SAT. It doesn’t hurt to take it 4 times. In fact, i took it 4 times. It’s not going to hurt your chances.

about the 800 in korean, while I agree that it doesn’t look good to use it to fulfill a requirement, it certainly is quite useful to have it in ur app. So send it anyway, but use other subjects to fulfill the reqs.

By the way, if you take it more than three times, superscore policy won’t be applied to your tests…

I think you should send in your 800 on korean because some people don’t even get 800s even if it is their native language…

i wouldn’t retake the SAT… take the ACT? the English section is much easier… but Reading is a little harder because of timing. Math is wayyy easier though so if you got 800 on SAT math, you’ll prob. get 36 on math =)

good luck deciding

many college admissions reps told me actually that the more SAT’s you take, shows your commitment to perfection. thats what colleges love to see in a students attitude.

Perhaps I should re-emphasize. As a requirement fulfillment, I would not use the 800 Korean score, but as a supplement after you’ve fulfilled the subject test requirement for other subjects, absolutely I would send it.

my sat tutor recommends that people take the act if they don’t get what they want after 3 tries. usually. he may just be referring to people with <2000 scores.

Hmmm…maybe I should take the test then…?
