Hi everyone!
So essentially, I’m wondering if I should retake either of the tests. I got a 1540 on the SAT (770 for both math and reading) and a 33 on the ACT (35 reading, 35 english, 31 science, 30 math). I’m satisfied with my SAT score, but my writing score for it was a 6/5/7 (18 overall), and I’m wondering if I should retake the test because of that… I didn’t take the ACT with writing (should I?), but will the 30 in math hurt me?
My dream school is UChicago, but I’m also applying to Emory, Georgetown, Northwestern, UF, and FSU (and potentially Wellesley). I’m leaning towards international relations as my major.

Your 1540 (770/770) SAT is strong enough. No point in retaking.
So do colleges not really care about the essay scores? My SAT one was pretty low and I didn’t even do the writing with the ACT, which is the primary reason I’m worried. Thanks, btw!
