Okay, I want to get into Yale (just putting it out there) and I got my SAT ii scores today.

I got a 750 in literature and a 710 in US History.

Should I retake the US History test? I think I'll score better on it if i take it a second time. How does it look to colleges if you retake an SAT II?

I'm assuming you are a junior who either finished us history or ap us history. You probably know the history better now than if you retake it in the fall. I think your scores are high enough and taking it again would not improve your score by very much if it improved at all. I would also reccomend taking the math II.
20-50 points won't make the difference on whether or not you get into yale.

Oh, I should have explained--i am already signed up to take the subject tests again in a week or two, so i probably won't forget the info.

sure, it wouldn't hurt (as long as you study hard). But, agree with goolsci -- try to add in a math and/or science test in the fall.

I would retake the US....dont worry about lit

I agree with goolsci.

GL on the SAT II's.

if you know you can score better, retake. again, only if you know you can score better. colleges don't really mind how many times you take it (within reason)
