Should I retake the SAT, which I first scored a 2080 on, or take the SAT Subject Test

I took the SAT once without a minute of studying -- I assumed I'd take it again so I decided to wing it to see where I was on the SAT spectrum. I got a 2080 (CR: 710, W: 710, M: 660). I scored an 11 for the essay portion.

I know for a fact that I could bring my SAT score up 100 or 200 points.

Should I retake the SAT and improve my score, or keep my current score and take three SAT Subject Tests? I ask because I am applying to some prestigious schools (American University, Boston College, Georgia Tech, UGA, etc.) and do not know which scores would be more important/impressive.

Thank you for your time :)

Wow, an 11 for the essay’s great!

I’m assuming you’re a senior. Have you taken any subject tests, and if so, how did you score on them?

If you score well on certain subject tests they can compensate for particular scores on your SAT.
