Firstly, I know this is the SAT prep section of CC but I'm just gonna add a tidbit about SAT II to save internet bits :).

So I just received my June SAT I and got an 2070 (M: 780 :'(, W: 620, CR: 670). This was my second SAT I test and on my first I got 1850. I know I can improve it if I study my brains off (hoping for 2200+) over the summer. However, I'm just worried as to how colleges might perceive it.

Also, I took my SAT II in May and got US: 690 and Math II: 780. I'm planning on taking my second set of SAT II's in November including Physics, US and maybe retake Math II. I think I can get an 800 in Math II and 750+ in physics and 700+ in US. I posted this thread because I wanted to know what you guys think of my plan. Any advice? tips? I will greatly appreciate any bits of information, especially from those who had a similar SAT route as mine.

colleges shouldn’t care a lot of people have bad days or just aren’t in the “SAT” mindset I think they superscore and don’t care about which date you got what.
don’t retake math 2, it is near perfect you will look test obsessed. once and admissions person at a respectable university said taking sat too mnay times 4 look test obsessed and they don’t like it. u haven’t taken it that many times but same idea, 20 pts. is like one question
also, you shouldn’t really take the SAT more than 3 times, so this is your last shot make it count. If you really want to you may not have to send them all your scores

Colleges don’t mind at all students taking SAT 3 times (4x gets a little risky though). Go all out on the subject tests, good luck.

I would retake the SAT, but I don’t know if I’d retake Math II. Invest your time/energy in another SAT II.

Thanks guys! I will take all your advices into account :)
