I got a 1510. Is this supposed to be a good score? I was just wondering because I searched online and 1500 is the average! So I'm above average, which is really good. I am not trolling, and I know I have a fantastic score, but maybe I can improve? I'm not fishing for compliments, I am serious.

is it 1500 overall (Cr+ M+ W) or Cr+ M scores only?

My overall score that I got when I took the first practice paper from The Official Collegeboard book. I am an international, by the way.

oh ok. what’s the breakdown of your scores by the way?

As you said, 1500 is the average score (the national average to be exact), so 1510 would just put you above the average. 1510 on you first practice test is very good, it means you have grasped some concepts of the SAT.

To answer your original question, yes I think you should retake, but only after you’ve done some serious studying. You have a great opportunity now to increase your SAT score by at least 200 and the only way to do this is by studying.
