Should I retake?

Hi all!

I got a 2340 (800 CR, 800 M, 740 W), and I was just wondering if, provided I felt confident that I could improve my writing score a lot, I should retake the test to improve my score/superscore by improving writing, or whether a single-sitting 2340 looks better.

Don’t retake it. A 740W is perfectly fine, especially since it’s the “least important” section in the eyes of colleges. You risk looking like someone who is obsessed with scores if you retake it. Focus on other aspects of your application.
