I scored a 31 on the recent ACT (31 E, 29 M, 32 R, 30 S) and a 1910 (640 CR, 600 M, 670 W) on SAT with minimal study. I am fairly sure I should retake at least one of them but I haven’t decided which test to retake. Should I just send my ACT score and not my SAT? Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated.
Which one should I even bother studying for? Would I even be able to improve enough for the June SAT/ACT by studying for a few weeks? I’d probably focus on math because that’s always my lowest section. I’m aiming for a score acceptable for Brown, Cornell, or Rice.

I’d say your ACT score is comparatively higher, and therefore worth your effort.
I have found that taking practice tests (even only a few) can help improve scores a lot because questions are very similar (even if you just do a few between now and June). I would recommend studying for the ACT first and getting your target score, because it seems easier for you. Once you do, you will have something to send to colleges; plus, although some colleges look at both scores, I have found that the vast majority only ask you to send either SAT or ACT. However, if you still want to also take the SAT, I would start studying for that only after you complete your ACT prep because I think you would spread yourself too thin preparing for both at the same time.
Good luck!!!
