Should I retake?

I took the ACT in March and I got a 34 on it. I didn't study at all, but I was happy with the scores, all except math...

Science: 35
Reading: 36
English: 33
Math: 31
Essay: 12/12

So, if I'm applying to some top-engineering schools, should I retake to get a higher math? The math was really easy (I just spent like 15 minutes on one question and didn't get to the last 5 or so), so I think I could get a 36 on it for sure if I took it again.

Also, is that score high enough for the really selective schools? Or should I go for the gusto and try to crack 36?

I think it's fine but it wont hurt to retake since you only have to send one score. I wouldn't though.

If you think you can actually do much better than retake, but its not like a 34 is bad. keep in mind that with your current scores a a raise up to a 36 in math would still only give you a 35.
