Should I retake?

Okay so I got a 690 Math IC and a 640 US History. For most of the schools I'm looking at I won't have to send these in (because of the ACT) but for Rice, my top choice, I have to. Rice requires two of them, and I think these two are too low. Should I-

A. Keep the scores I've got
B. Retake US History and Math IC
C. Take another test (Literature or Physics) and see if I can break 700

Any input would be really appreciated!

It depends on your ACT/SAT I scores.

If you have good enough SAT I scores, it can help, but I would suggest retaking Math and getting a 700+, and/or take another test that YOU KNOW you can get a 700+ ON.

my ACT is a 31, my SAT is a 2080

^That's not that bad. If you are able to take the SAT again , I would aim for a 2200.. because its only 120 points more, and it's definitely possible.

Retake if you know you can do better. It's that simple. People try to overcomplicate things.

2080 is good... anyway, im surprised that someone who got 2080 did worse than me on the SATII. i got 700 on mathIIC and 680 on USH

i don't think sat I has any correlation to sat II's. i got 780, 730, 800 on my subject tests but a 1940 sat I. on the other hand, i got a 33 act.

what i can tell you is that ivy league average sat II scores are around 710-720 so if you want to be safe maybe retake them or try something else during the summer and see where your highest scores are and then take it in those subjects in october.

i would retake; my satI actually sucked: 1670. I definitely need some work
