Hey guys, I got a 31 on my ACT..
I'm applying to Kenyon, Bates, Vassar, and Oberlin and others in the same vein
Will this score hinder my chances of getting into these schools??
I suppose I could take it again in December but I'm not sure if it would be submitted to the schools in time for Reg. decision
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

of course a 31 won't hinder your chances at any of those schools

thanks... a few people told me my scores were kind of low, so I wasn't sure

Check the middle 50% range of accepted students for those schools...that will give you the best guess

personally, i would retake. Why? Theres no penalty. However, i would study very minimal for it because 31 is pretty good.

Don't retake; you're fine. Take the time to strengthen your application in other ways. You should get into 3/4.

Naah, you're fine for those places. Spend your time tailor-making quirky applications instead.

31 will probably be fine
