Should I rush my SAT scores? Please help.

My application deadline is Jan 1st. Should I pay the extra $30 to rush my scores today?

The deadline for test scores is not always the same for application deadline. So unless the test scores are due in Jan. 1st, check the college’s admissions website to find out what the due dates are for sending scores.

Also, I heard (in CC) it is not always a good idea to rush the score. If the admissions website doesn’t say anything about it then spend the extra $30 if you think its worth it.

No, you shouldn’t.

No, don’t waste 30$. I’m sure even if the scores don’t arrive on 1/1 you can just tell the colleges you sent them and they’ll be fine. Also, they don’t take that long to send.

I agree with other answers. Colleges usually care on the SAT date rather than the date that scores officially come in.

Most schools receive scores electionically, so scores are updated to their databases periodically. So there’s no advantage of rushing your scores unless they receive it by mail.
