Should I say that I didn't take SAT classes

I jumped from 2080 to 2210 and then 2280 (super). This was all sitting down and preparing, not classes. However, I'm going to respect colleges who don't want me using score choice, and on paper it really looks like a signed up for some tutoring. Would it be worth mentioning in my applications (in additional things you want to add) that I haven't done any tutoring/classes? Do the adcoms want to know?

No, don’t tell them that–if they wanted to know, there would be a box on the application about you could check. Just let sleeping dogs lie and work on other parts of your application.

I wouldn’t take the test more than 3 times without a good reason, though. Then you’d look obsessive. LOL!

Anyone can study to get a better score on his/her own, as long as they use the right materials (i.e. the Official SAT Guide, also known as the “Blue Book”, is indispensable). I doubt adcoms would be impressed with someone who achieved a good score without taking any SAT prep classes.

lol where would you even write such a thing? I believe colleges wouldn’t really care.

Hmmm…that would mean admissions people would love people who got high scores and wrote that they didn’t even prepare for the SAT other than sharpen 2 #2 pencils and change the batteries in their calculator…

Thanks for the help. I won’t mention it. To answer ss3948’s question, there is usually a space to put additional info that wasn’t asked for.
