I have self-studied 4 other APs and I'm wondering

is self studying APES is doable?

Is it recommended to have a tutor?

Should I have a textbook? If so, what's a good one?

Which review book is the best for APES?

How long does it take to learn all the material before the AP exam?

Please try to answer all my questions! Your advice is much appreciated!

Self studying APES is definitely doable, a group of friends and I did this in high school and we all passed the AP exam.

We didn’t have a tutor, but we had group study sessions so we all kind of helped each other. There wasn’t a lot of learning formulas or anything, it was mostly learning concepts and vocabulary and such. A tutor would help, but is not necessary or anything.

I would recommend a textbook. The one I used was Environmental Science by Cunningham.

I found the Princeton Review’s review book the most useful.

My friends and I started in late October and learned everything by the beginning of April to give us a month to review. That timeline worked really well for us, but it depends on how quickly you learn and how well you grasp the concepts.
