My school only offers AP Physics C, so I was wondering if I could self-study for B :P I'm taking AP Physics C in 12th, so maybe I could self-study for B in 11th grade. I'm planning on taking Honors Physics in 10th grade, because the only way for me to do AP Chem in 11th at my school is to do regular Chem AND Physics in 10th. Do you think I could even try self-studying for Physics B in 10th?

Oh, and if I take the exams they'll be changed to AP Physics 1 and 2, which are the same as B and C, right?

Thanks :D

AP Physics 1 & 2 are both Physics B split up, not B and C.

Oooh. Maybe I could self-study AP Physics 1 in 10th since I’d be taking Physics (possibly honors), AP Physics 2 in 11th, and AP Physics C in 12th then.

Is each one supposed to be year-long or semester-long? If it’s like C where it’s split into 2 semesters, I would just take both exams in 11th, then.

They’re both supposed to be year-long courses. My advice would be to self study for both exams while you’re taking physics honors because you probably won’t like taking an AP physics and AP chem exam in the same year
