<p>So last year I took IB CS SL and I got a 7. I don't need the HL (I already have 3 HLs this year) and I would really like to keep the 7. However, my teacher really wants me to take computer science HL in addition to taking physics SL in school. I agree that I would learn more by studying for the test and doing another IA but the class wouldn't affect my GPA or show up on my transcript and it would require more time on my part. Still I am hesitant to say no because this teacher is writing very important recommendation letters for me and I don't want to disappoint him or wimp out and not be a "risk taker". What should I do? And if I decide to say no, how do I tell my teacher that?</p>
