Should I Self-Study?

This may seem redundant, but I need some advice.

I'm an incoming Junior and will be taking the only AP offered to my year, APUSH. I also really want to self-study for AP World and have had two years of normal world history study (Ancient/Medieval last year and Modern this year).

The thing is, my school has a notoriously rough junior year and I'm taking the hardest classes I can get. APUSH is almost unanimously the hardest class at school (but that's because the teacher has an AMAZING track record) and Hon. English is also supposedly quite hard. Besides academics, I'm going to be class president, the culmination of busyness for which is April-mid May, and am in charge of the monthly newsletter for a club I'm in. I have a few other ECs (including one season of sports), but the most of my time consumption is stated above.

I have a pretty decent grasp on world history and hear it's not too bad. Should I go for it?

Go for it. And if you’re taking Hon. English, why not try the AP English Language and Composition exam too? If you’re good at essays/analysis, you should have no trouble passing.
