Today I got my subject test scores. A 770 on Math 2 and a surprising 680 on Physics. I'm pretty cool with my math score but a little bit disappointed about physics score. I'm applying to a couple of top schools. Do you think it would be better for me not to send the physics score, and only send the math score to the schools that state that subjects are "optional"?

I'd like to, but unfortunately I'm not able to retake sat subject test physics because I'm already REtaking regular SAT in December ))

Thanks for your reply! Do you think that sending a 680 score will worsen my chances? Maybe there is still sense in sending a 680 physics score? Or you are totally sure it will only make it worse for me?
Thanks!

I would not either unless the school requires 2 Subject Test scores. A 680 in Physics is 50th percentile exactly. For top schools that is not where you want to be…

Ok, thank you guys! Then i will probably only send 770 Math II score to the top schools that only “recommend” 2 sat subject tests, and will send both to those that require 2 subjects.
Thanks everyone!
