<p>With 790 on Math II and 740 on both Chem and US, I got wait listed to Stanford and Yale, plus accepted to Dartmouth, Wharton, Cornell, UChicago, and Williams. Of all the reasons I think of for not getting accepted into HYPS, my subject test scores (or my 2300) are not one of them: I should have sent in a music supplement, dedicated more than a week to my essays, or gotten more tangible awards for my extracurriculars. Then again, if this is not a ■■■■■ thread, my guess is that the perspective of a UChicago attendee and a HYPS reject is not worthy of someone considering not blemishing their application with a 780 in Chem.</p>
