Should I send a midterm report?

While in the military, I took intermediate algebra. Military life got in the way, and I wasn't able to continue to go to class. I passed the drop deadline, so I got an F. Now I am out of the military, and I am taking this class again at a different community college.

I am applying to good schools, around top 50.

I just got a horrible grade on a test, in this math class. Brought my overall grade for the class down to a C.

Now I wondering if I should even send in the midterm report for some of these schools where it is optional. I already have an F on one of my transcripts, and now if I send in a C in the same class. I'm worried this will have a negative impact.

The rest of my classes are all A's and B's though, and in my major, I have an A.

Any thoughts if I should send in the midterm report? Thanks

If you’re having that difficult at time with Intermed. Algebra, I hope you have some schools below the top 50 on your list.

If a midterm report is not required, then don’t send one.

For the future, most (all?) colleges let you take a Withdrawal anytime during the semester if you miss the drop date. Too many Ws isn’t great, but better than a F or D as the don’t impact your gpa.
