My best superscore SAT is 2140 (730 reading, 640 math, 770 writing) and my best ACT is 31. Which would be considered more competitive? Also I took the ACT twice and both had a composite score of 31. Will colleges look at the individual scores from each subject or just the 31 composite? Thank you!

Certain colleges will superscore the act as well, it depends on the college though, if that is what you mean. I am pretty sure, if you sent the report to the college, they receive and assess each subject and the composite.

A lot of schools, at least the ones I’ve visited, have said that they encourage you to send in both ACT and SAT scores. Only the better of the two scores will be counted in such cases. I’d try to find out if that is an option at the schools you’re looking at.

Also, I’m pretty sure my SAT II scores will work against me, I’m really not confident I did well on them. If I did poorly should I send just my ACT +writing score in lieu of my SAT + SAT II scores or should I still send both? This is just for my 2 reach schools which require subject tests in addition to SAT.
