Should I send both or just the first act?

First
C 32
E 31
M 34
R 30
S 32

Second
C 31
E 29
M 30
R 28
S 36

I did a lot worse the second time other then science. I didn't prep either time so that's probably why didn't improve. I'm EDing to Brown if that makes a difference.

Just do the first. The second score would’ve been lower had it not been offset by the 36 in science and it makes you look weak because you only did good in one part vs the first where you were more consistent.

So colleges won’t superscore it?

I don’t know if brown does. I never quite got into the Ivy League thing. It varies from school to school, but check with brown to see if they do. If they do, send both because you’ll have a 33.

Most schools do not superscore the ACT.

Check this link for schools that superscore ACT:
http://www.freetestprep.com/blog/resources/list-of-colleges-and-universities-that-superscore-the-act-test/

Brown does not. However, some schools would still look at the highest section score even if they don’t superscore. For instance, UMich CoE will look for the highest Math section score. In that case, submitting both scores would help. Lastly, some schools may require you sending all scores anyway. Other than that, your first attempt has better composite score and also even distribution of section scores.
