should i send both scores?

I'm wondering if I should send one (Oct) or both ACT scores to schools. Would there be any downsides to this? (Would colleges be annoyed the same way as when they are sent additional letters of recs?)

Both have the same composite score of 29.

Thanks

Here are my ACTscores:
APRIL
eng - 28
math - 32
rdg - 21
sci - 33
eng+writing - 26(8/12 essay)
composite - 29

OCTOBER
eng - 27 (-1)
math - 34 (+2)
rdg - 30 (+9)
sci - 26 (-7)
eng+writing - 24 (6/12 essay) (-2)
composite - 29 (same)

Lol you have a good superscore, i'd send both, idk if theyll be annoyed or not.

Easy-both. Especially with such wildly different scores. Find out who Superscores. You got a 32 that way.

First, I don't think any schools would be annoyed by multiple sets of scores. So if you do decide you want to send both, I wouldn't worry about that.

Your case seems like a tough call (unless any of your schools superscore--then you send both, obviously). I'm going to suggest you send both, mostly because they are clearly different but I can't decide which looks better to me. Just looking at the multiple choice, I'd prefer October, because that 21 in reading in April doesn't look so good, plus the sum of the four tests is higher (average is 29.25 vs. 28.5). But the 8 essay in April is significantly better than the 6 in October. So I'd send both, especially if the school requires the writing test. Remember that even if they don't require it, all schools you send your scores to can read the actual essay you wrote.
