I am applying to a lot of tough schools - UC’s, CalPoly, NU, Rice, etc…
My SAT is higher, I think, as I took it 4 times and a got a 1490.
However, I have to send in all, and my most recent score is not good compared to the 3rd (it dropped). My 2 ACT scores are similiar and don’t drop at the end. I don’t think my schools superscore.
SAT (september 1300, june 1460, august 1490, october 1390- Idk why I even took it!)
ACT ( june 31, september 32)
Should I send in ACT or SAT?
anyone^^^
This is important as my SAT dropped, but my ACT didn’t; however some say that my ACT is not as good as my highest SAT.
Hi! does anyone know if the act scores will be released tonight or tomorrow night?
32 ACT is 97th percentile. http://www.act.org/content/dam/act/unsecured/documents/MultipleChoiceStemComposite2017-18.pdf
1490 is 99th percentile. https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/pdf/understanding-sat-scores.pdf
If you were my kid, I’d advise sending the SAT.
@sophieleaf11 I think tomorrow! I also took it! I hope we do good!
@evergreen5 So even though my SAT dropped significantly, I should still send it? Some of my schools (like UC’s) ask for all scores too.
Also if I got a 33 or above, would that be better to send instead of SAT?
33 is still 98th %. Consider your subscore for math though, which one is higher?
Well I will get my scores tmrw for ACT, but i got 35 on previous math.
