Should i send in act score?

Applied ED to BU – have sent SAT scores of 700M/600CR/540W. Just received my ACT score of 28 (composite). Should I send it to BU or would it work against me?

Thanks very much.

I applied ED to BU as well.

Both of my scores are low... SAT 1780 (650M/530CR/600WR) superscore vs 27 ACT.. lolol. I wasn't sure which one was better, so I just decided to send them all in. If it hurts me.. so be it. :</p>

I'm sending in my applications this weekend (RD).
My scores:
W: 660
M: 610
CR: 580

I'm waiting for my SAT II's...I don't think I did very well...
I'm not sure what to do either. =[

just go to google and type act score percentiles or sat score percentiles and go to the pages that are on either wikipedia or the act or sat websites. i think there also pages which show act-sat score comparisons so just google that. another thing you can do is use collegeboard or some other website to check, for the college you're going to, where each score stands and you can see which score puts you more in the top

Thanks for the info re: SAT/ACT comparisons -- very useful! I guess a 28 ACT is approximately a 1260 SAT so I guess we'll just hold with the 1300 SAT, exclusive of the Writing score.

To Mperfectionist, what was your ACT score? I think your SATs will be okay -- don't worry. Very nice Writing score, and I've heard that BU looks at the Writing score. Good luck with whatever you decide.
