Should I send in late applications to schools I passed up

I senior and high school and will be starting as a freshman in the fall feel, and like I passed up a lot of schools I should’ve applied to. I live in Massachusetts, and got into all the public state colleges (the UMasses plus Bridgewater) and I feel like I could’ve done better. However the problem is most private schools around here have deadlines which have already passed. Based on my credentials, do you think it is worthwhile for me to send in applications and see what can be done? Could I still be able to get in and get need and merit financial aid? Or do I need to accept going to a public state college at this point?
