Hello guys, i'm applying to several tech colleges, including berkeley, trying to major in computer science.

do you think that if i send in my ACT score, it would hurt my chances?

E 24
M 35
S 29
W 27

I debating whether i should send it because my math score is pretty high.
i also got 2010 on the sat (m 790 cr 560 w 660)

i’m applying to berkeley, mit, cornell, usc, stanford, and harvey mudd

i’m in a similar dilemma. does anyone have any advice?

I totally don’t have any authority over this, but I’m thinking: if you ONLY have an ACT score, you can’t just not send it in, because they need to receive some sort of test score. So,
- If you have a better SAT score, you might consider sending the SAT but not the ACT
- If you don’t have a better SAT, you can maybe try retesting either test to see if you can improve. I’ve heard that although they don’t like low scores, an improvement is always appreciated.
- If you can’t do either of these, maybe try further showing that you’re really good at math (cuz even though the English ones may be lacking, you said math is going to be your main focus/major, right?) by taking the SAT II for Math II (Math I isn’t accepted, I think) and going very well on that.

Again, I’m really not sure but those are things to think about before you send anything in.
