I took AP Chem in my junior year, got a 5, but neglected to send my score to my college. While I want to send my score for the college credit, I'm not confident in my chemistry. I'm afraid that I've forgotten a lot of chemistry and that if I do submit my scores and I'm put into chem II, I'll be lag behind. Should I spend $15 and send in my scores, or just take chem I in college?

Once you learn something it’s easy to relearn it if forgotten.

If you’re a science major, you should consider having a strong background in chemistry. It’s rather fundamental. If you’re not, you’ll be fine; take the AP credit

If you’re a science major, retake the class. If you’re not a science major and the credits will fulfill part of your General Ed. Science requirement, then submit the score for the credits.
